Greg was born in Tamworth in NSW and moved to Ballina at age 5 years. His first trip to sea was at the age of 6, with his father on a trawler.
His passion for the sea was started; he owned his first boat at age 11 a sailing dingy.
Greg has worked as a professional fisherman in Australia and North America.
Charter fishing boat skipper and a dive boat skipper in Australia
He has owned three sailing vessels exploring the QLD coast in each, and raising a child on one.
He has also delivered boats between Tasmania and QLD.
